Multi-Day Gatherings for Dialogue, Connection, and Reconciliation
Our Gathering, kexwkexwntsút chet, tə sq̓əq̓ip ct is a significant annual event bringing together First Nations leadership, federal partners, and community members in meaningful dialogue. Over three days, more than 850 in-person and virtual attendees from 133 BC First Nation communities came together for plenaries, breakout sessions, and cultural moments designed to inspire conversation, deepen relationships, and advance Reconciliation.

We worked alongside the organizing partners from the earliest planning stages through to the final closing remarks, ensuring every element of the gathering reflected the values of respect, collaboration, and cultural safety.
Our approach allows attendees to focus fully on the important conversations at hand, while we manage the details that make it possible, including:
- Full project management to align partners, timelines, and deliverables
- Complete inventory of décor elements, including columns, greenery, bentwood boxes
- Registration and communications oversight to keep 850+ attendees informed and engaged
- Hospitality, venue, and accommodation booking to ensure comfort and accessibility
- Audio-visual production and hybrid meeting support to connect in-person and virtual audiences seamlessly
- Graphic design and print production with culturally resonant visuals
- Cultural protocol coordination with Elders, including welcome ceremonies, prayers, and gift presentations
- Travel and honorarium administration so participation was barrier-free
The décor collection included a striking backdrop by Tahltan multimedia artist Alano Edzerza, which served as the statement piece for Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week’s “All My Relations” showcase, held on day two of the event. The connection between Our Gathering and VIFW was a powerful demonstration of how collaboration across events and artistic disciplines can amplify Indigenous voices, strengthen cultural pride, and create spaces of understanding and unity.
By blending operational precision with cultural care, Our Gathering is delivered as a space that is both logistically smooth and deeply meaningful. The conversations, relationships, and commitments shared continue to shape the path toward Reconciliation, and we are honoured to walk alongside our partners and participants in making it possible.
