As CEO of Naut’sa mawt Resources Group, Kelly leads a team dedicated to generating ethical and sustainable revenues that support Naut’sa mawt Tribal Council and its Member Nations.
With over 25 years of experience in communications, business development, and organizational transformation, Kelly focuses on creating opportunities that are impactful, respectful, and aligned with community values. She believes in fostering collaboration, kindness, and accountability to guide her team and partners toward shared success.

Samantha lives and works with gratitude on the unceded and traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw. As President, Samantha oversees the department’s strategic development and ensures that NEM standards are maintained and consistently delivered for all clientele.

Drawing on her bachelor’s degree in Canadian History (Queens University) and a decade of experience in the event sales and planning industry, Samantha guides her team to exceed client expectations and respectfully incorporate Indigenous cultural protocol into NEM Events. In her spare time, Samantha enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and live music.

Sarah lives and works with gratitude on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ First Nations. As Director, Event Planning with Naut’sa mawt Event Management, Sarah provides strategic leadership across the organization’s events team, strengthening internal processes and service offerings. Sarah ensures every project upholds Naut’sa mawt’s standards of excellence and incorporates culturally safe approaches that elevate Indigenous voices. With a strong background in project management, Sarah is highly organized and brings an energetic, personalized approach to her work. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, skiing, and reading.

Haley lives and works with gratitude on the unceded, traditional, and ancestral territories of Secwepemcúl’ecw and Syilx. As Senior Event Manager, Haley supports the event team from start to finish, ensuring the Indigenous community at large is included, respected, and celebrated through all experiences. Her previous conference and event management experience bring strong creative and analytical skills. In her spare time, Haley like to enjoy the culinary and wine region of the Okanagan valley, travel and is currently learning how to play pickleball.

Annette works remotely at Naut’sa mawt Event Management from the unceded and traditional territory of the q̓ic̓əy̓, Kwantlen, kʷikʷəƛ̓əm, Qayqayt, Semiahmoo and scəẁaθən Nations. As a Senior Event Manager, Annette brings strong attention to detail, passion, and dedication to support her team in delivering successful events. With 15 years of experience in the hotel industry, including 11 years dedicated to sales and events, Annette understands the importance of exceeding client expectations through respect and collaboration. In her spare time, Annette enjoys spending time with her family, being in nature, and curling up with a good book.

Victoria lives and works with graditutde on the traditional and unceded territory of the Stó꞉lō Nation. As an Event Manager, Victoria has harnessed her skills in time management and organization. She is well-spoken, with effective communication skills and carries herself in a professional and approachable way. In her spare time, Victoria enjoys being outdoors, cooking and curling up on the couch with a good book.

Katherine lives and works with gratitude on the unceded and traditional territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations. Katherine event manages virtual, in-person and hybrid events, ensuring NEM standards are respected and fulfilled. With over twelve years of experience in the event industry managing different types of events, she brings a wealth of knowledge, strong attention to detail and passion for smooth running events. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys travelling, hiking, horse riding and spending time with her family.

Chanelle lives and works with gratitude on the unceded and traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Lil’wat Nations. As Event Manager, Chanelle collaborates with clients to ensure events are well-planned and have upheld Naut’sa mawt’s standards. Chanelle brings over nine years of experience in not-for-profit, corporate, and sporting event management, finding fulfillment in witnessing events unfold seamlessly from planning to execution phases. In her spare time, Chanelle enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding, swimming, and hiking.

Krysta lives and works with gratitude on the unceded and traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations. As Event Manager, Krysta works closely with clients to ensure each event is thoughtfully planned and executed to reflect the high standards of Naut’sa mawt. With a degree in Communications combined with over 15 years of experience and a strong foundation in client care, Krysta leads with a strategic focus, and a results-driven mindset – always ensuring a seamless event process that aligns with the client’s goals. In her spare time, Krysta enjoys quiet time outdoors walking her pup, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends.

Kayla lives and works with gradtitude on the unceded and traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw. As Event Coordinator, Kayla is committed to overseeing every aspect of event planning and execution, ensuring her clients’ visions are effectively met. With a background in event sales management and operations, Kayla is highly organized and results-driven, ensuring every detail is well thought out and executed seamlessly. In her spare time, Kayla enjoys rock climbing, hiking, fly fishing and backcountry camping.

Cristina lives and works with gratitude on the unceded and traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw. As Event Coordinator, Cristina works independently and in collaboration with the Event Manager and Senior Event Manager, focusing on the clear outline, communication, execution, and documentation of the events. With experience working in events for Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw, Cristina understands the importance of cultural safety and respect with event planning and is passionate about contributing to the reclamation of Indigenous culture. In her spare time, Cristina enjoys hiking, mountain biking, yoga, and travelling.

Claire lives and works with gratitude on the ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səl̓ilwətaɬ Nations. As Event Assistant, she supports the event team with administrative coordination and helps ensure smooth event delivery. She holds a degree in Anthropology from the University of British Columbia and brings experience in ethnographic and archival research. Claire is committed to learning through meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities and aims to support culturally respectful and inclusive practices in all aspects of her work. In her spare time, she enjoys watching films & TV, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her cat, Goose.

Keanna lives and works with gratitude on the unceded and traditional territories of the Xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and Səlilwətaɬ Nations. As Event Assistant, Keanna provides comprehensive support to the Events Department from planning to execution, ensuring every event is delivered on schedule and achieves the high standards of service excellence at NEM. With an education in Project Management and experience as both Marketing Coordinator and Executive Assistant, Keanna brings a dedication to efficiency and organization that enhances team performance and event delivery. In her spare time, Keanna enjoys trail runs with her dogs, crafting, and a field sports days with her friends.

Gerrit lives and works with gratitude on the unceded and traditional territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən Peoples, the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. As the Reporting Manager, Gerrit oversees the development of reporting materials to help accurately reflect the conversations that took place and the decisions that were made during our events. Drawing on a decade of experience engaging communities on a wide range of topics, Gerrit works to ensure a seamless relationship between an event and the reporting materials produced, and to produce materials that are reflective of the people and communities that were involved. In his spare time, Gerrit enjoys travelling, getting lost in new places, and taking his cat, Sterling, out on forest adventures.

Jasmine lives and works with gratitude on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territory of the Musqueam people. As the Reporting Coordinator, she transforms important conversations into clear, accurate, and insightful reporting materials that reflect participants’ voices and perspectives. Drawing on her experience in journalism, translation, and storytelling across media, nonprofits, and higher education, Jasmine brings precision, curiosity, and a passion for meaningful communication to her everyday work. Outside work, she loves visiting cafés, exploring foodie spots, and enjoying the best bobas in town.

Adrian works remotely from Coast Salish territories, as a xʷənitəm settler on xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ lands and waters. As Report Writer, Adrian carefully records information shared at events and develops materials to accurately and respectfully reflect those discussions. He draws from experience learning and working in the areas of law, language, cultural heritage, education, and ethnoecology. In his spare time, Adrian enjoys walking, fiddling, foraging, and sharing food.

Jody lives and works with gratitude on the unceded and ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱ wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations. As Art Collection and Experience Manager, she is leading the development of NEM’s new art collection and contributing visual impact for event clients and public-facing initiatives. Jody brings over a decade of experience leading cultural programs across the arts, design, and both for- and non-profit sectors, with a focus on community impact and storytelling through visual culture. She is the author of Currents: Contemporary Pacific Northwest Design, published in 2018, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Urban Studies at Simon Fraser University. In her spare time, she enjoys adventuring in BC’s waters and forests.

Based on the unceded and ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱ wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, Kevin coordinates visual experiences in collaboration with government, non-profit, and corporate clients across a diverse array of engagements and celebrations. A Vancouver Mural Festival alum with over 10 years of design industry experience, Kevin approaches community engagement with an empathetic, solutions-focused methodology, tailored through years of stakeholder relations experience. He is currently a volunteer Communications Director for local music non-profit The Project Vancity and serves as a grant adjudicator for Creative BC as well.

Emily lives and works with gratitude on the unceded and traditional territory of the X̲aayda. As Sales & Marketing Manager, Emily oversees the sales process and marketing initiatives of the organization to ensure excellent client experiences, sustainable business growth, and the development of tools that strengthen brand awareness. Combining a decade of experience in Marketing, an education in Event Management, and previous work in Indigenous communities, Emily is dedicated to building meaningful relationships and designing content rooted in culture & care. In her spare time, Emily enjoys golfing, spending time in nature, and snuggling her dogs.
