Reporting Services

Meeting Minutes and Transcripts

We record meeting minutes and create transcripts manually, without using AI tools, to ensure Indigenous voices are captured with accuracy, care, and cultural integrity.

What We Heard Reports and Summaries

We turn participant input into clear, themed reports that highlight direct quotes, recurring ideas, and visual elements to help readers understand what matters most and decide on next steps.

Visual Storytelling

We create infographics, graphic recordings, presentations, and newsletters to transform complex information into content that is clear, engaging, and easy to remember.

Commitments & Credentials

We actively engage with the Global Indigenous Data Alliance (GIDA), a network of Indigenous researchers, data experts, and organizations from around the world. GIDA brings Indigenous voices together to strengthen approaches to data sovereignty and governance. We stay aligned with GIDA’s evolving practices to ensure our work reflects global standards in Indigenous data management.

Every member of our reporting team completes The Fundamentals of OCAP® training from the First Nations Information Governance Centre. OCAP® stands for Ownership, Control, Access, and Possession and asserts the rights of First Nations over their data. We apply these principles across all our work, ensuring data is handled with care, integrity, and respect.

We are an active member of the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2), the global body for public engagement professionals. Through IAP2, our team takes part in conversations on Indigenous engagement and stays up to date on evolving tools and best practices that support meaningful community involvement.

Our Approach

Reporting, to us, is more than documenting. It’s a responsibility. We honour the voices, knowledge, and experiences shared at meetings and engagements by creating accurate, secure, and culturally informed records. Our team listens deeply and respectfully, ensuring each report safeguards stories, reflects community values, and upholds Indigenous governance and protocols.

Each report is designed to become a lasting record that governments and communities can reference for decision-making, policy development, and knowledge transfer for generations to come. By combining professional expertise with cultural integrity, we transform reporting into a tool that strengthens trust, preserves relationships, and carries the intent of every contributor into the future.

The Naut’sa mawt Way

“Naut’sa mawt” means working together as one. We honour the values of our ancestors, whose footsteps have marked this land for centuries and whose knowledge guides us as we lean on the teachings of our Elders who move us forward in a good way.

Engagement on Consultation and Accommodation

The development of Canada’s new consultation and accommodation guidelines is a process that must be guided by the voices, knowledge, and priorities of Indigenous Peoples. This multi-year engagement series is creating space for Indigenous communities to share perspectives that will shape a framework grounded in respect, reciprocity, and recognition of inherent rights.
