Indian Residential School Survivors Society 30 Year Anniversary Gala
Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS)
Honouring 30 Years of Healing & Resilience
The Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) has walked alongside Survivors and their families for three decades, providing critical support, fostering healing, and advancing Reconciliation. To mark this powerful milestone, nearly 400 guests gathered for an unforgettable evening that celebrated the resilience of Survivors and inspired an ongoing commitment to positive change.

We were honoured to support this milestone gala, providing logistical expertise and cultural care to ensure the event was meaningful, accessible, and memorable. Our contributions included:
- Full event management, including on-site event coordination
- Venue and supplier management to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Audio-visual services to support speeches, performances, and presentations
- Speaker and program management to guide the evening’s flow
- Cultural protocol coordination, including Elder involvement and ceremonial moments
- Indigenous décor and staging, including columns, backdrops, greenery, and bentwood boxes
- Indigenous-made centrepieces by artist Clayton Gauthier
- Silent and live auction support, including sourcing of local Indigenous artwork
Indigenous décor shaped the atmosphere of the evening, blending the elegance of a black-tie event with cultural symbolism rooted in tradition. Custom centrepieces created by Clayton Gauthier (Cree and Dakelh) were at the heart of the design.
The IRSSS 30th Anniversary Gala was a meaningful gathering of Survivors, families, leaders, and allies who came together to honour resilience, embrace healing, and celebrate 30 years of impact. We are grateful and proud to have been included in such a powerful event. In honour of Survivors and their families, NEM donated the rental of its full décor inventory.
